Braised Red Snapper with Bitter Gourd

This ASIAn Recipe named Braised Red Snapper with Bitter Gourd, formely it has another name, but we forgot sorry. why you don't try it, easy and simple:


* INGREDIENTS

- 1 red snapper
- 1/2 bitter gourd - sliced
- 5 pcs ginger
- 5 pcs carrot
- 1 tsp black bean paste
- 200 ml stock
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- oil for frying


* METHOD

1. Heat oil, deep fry the fish for 1 minute, remove and drain well.
2. Deep fry bitter gourd for 1/2 minute, remove and drain well.
3. Leave 2 tbsp of oil in wok, saute ginger until fragrant, add in 5 pcs carrot and 1 tsp black bean paste, stirr well.
4. Place in the fried fish and fried bitter gourd.
5. Add in 200 ml stock, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp cooking wine, bring to the boil over high heat, then cover with lid and reduce to low heat. Simmer until the gravy turns thick.
